Accustic Arts AMP I Launch with Conviction at the Florida Audio Expo Feb 20-22
At this day and age, the problem is not a shortage of watts. It is a shortage of conviction.
There are more ways to “assemble” a system but yet fewer components that were truly built to take responsibility for the hardest job in the room, which is, to keep modern loudspeakers honest, unflustered, and fully alive at real listening levels.
While the AMP IV and the AMP VI have delighted many audiophiles and reviewers alike with their exemplary sonic performance and exquisite build quality; best in class bass performance, three dimensional soundstage and a midrange capable of midrange magic.
A major barrier for many music lovers was the sheer size and cost of these outstanding amplifiers.
Accustic Arts listened and strategically brought back and updated the AMP I amplifier and matching PRE I pre-amplifier first shown at the high-end show in Munich, May 2025 .
Accustic Arts AMP I Launch is for the listener who has lived through the difference between “loud” and “controlled”.
For listeners who know that a serious power supply and true current delivery are not talking points but are the difference between a soundstage and a suggestion.

Accustic Arts AMP I, has the same philosophy in power supply design as the AMP IV. It also benefits from the addition of power factor linearization. a feature unique to Accustic Arts.
With approx. 40 watts of Class A on tap, most music lovers will spend the predominant amount of time, listening to their favorite music in class A mode. When the music calls for a greater power envelope, then over 200 watts , RMS are available into eight ohms.
“… Amp I proves that excellent power amplifier amplification is possible even on a more compact scale … Powered by a high-capacity, high-reserve power supply, selected MOSFET transistors…a strict dual-mono design. This 330 watts stereo power amplifier … superb dynamic range… impressive lifelike reproduction – in true audiophile excellence…”

Sneak Preview for the matching PRE I to the AMP I with optional modules … to be released in a month …
Sneak preview of the matching PRE I, with an à la carte modular build that reflects how people actually listen now: DAC (USB, coax, optical), phono, dual-phono, or DAC+phono, chosen with intent rather than forced as a compromise.
That combination is the quiet SWOT turned into an editorial advantage:
AMP I’s strength is timeless authority. Its only “weakness” is that it refuses to be an all-in-one. PRE I converts that into opportunity by letting the brain evolve while the brawn stays definitive, and it does so without picking a fight with anyone.
It simply gives experienced listeners what they have been waiting for, a modern, elegantly upgradable control center worthy of a power amplifier that sounds like it is here to stay.
Matching PRE I is slated to ship in February. Stay tuned….
