Can a Gryphon stereo amplifier pass DC?

Can a Gryphon stereo amplifier pass DC? Gryphon’s technical specifications online do not provide the +/- roll-off points, they simply specify the frequency response being 0-350 kHz or 0-400 kHz. That would lead me to believe that any of Gryphon’s better amps are capable of passing DC.

Answer:

Gryphon amplifiers are capable of passing DC. However, they won’t do it for longer time in order to protect the loudspeakers. Gryphon has DC-servo circuits built-in which will remove DC-content from the signal. If one for some reason puts a higher level of DC into the amplifier than the DC-servo can remove, the error detection circuit will shut the amplifier down in order to protect the loudspeakers.
