The blue light indicator for the internal DAC flashes blue when the capacitor for the DAC is charging or is steady blue when the DAC is charged. However, the only time the Blue light shows is when the Brightness is set to off. When the Brightness is set to anything on 25, 50, 75 or 100% the Blue light remains off. Is that right?

Answer:

The blue LED flashes while the super cap is charging and stops = switch off when it is fully charged. The blue LED switch on when the display is off to indicate “brightness: off” mode even though you have a DAC module installed, you might not see the blue LED flashing at power-up, unless the unit has been powered off for longer time.
