This hi-fi preamplifier was designed with the utmost precision for maximum signal purity, flexibility, and expandability. At its heart is a sophisticated power supply with separate transformers for analog and digital functions. This clear separation minimizes interference and creates optimal conditions for pristine sound reproduction. The audio amplifier stages are also built on separate circuit boards, ensuring short signal paths and maximum channel separation.
The preamplifier features two balanced XLR inputs and three unbalanced line inputs as standard. An integrated headphone amplifier enables high-quality, direct monitoring without additional components. Four output channels are available: one unbalanced output without volume control, one regulated unbalanced output, and two regulated balanced XLR outputs.
All inputs and outputs are switched via high-quality relays. Furthermore, the level of each input can be adjusted independently to optimally integrate different sources and enable seamless switching without volume jumps.
The preamplifier is modularly expandable. Two slots on the rear panel provide space for two additional modules. Two identical modules can be used, for example, to create two independent phono inputs. Currently, modules for MM and MC cartridges are available, as well as a digital module with optical and coaxial S/PDIF inputs. This is complemented by a USB port for playing PCM and DSD signals. The integrated ESS DAC processes 32-bit PCM data at 384 kHz and DSD up to a resolution of 512 kHz. An HDMI ARC module is currently under development and will be released later this year.
The preamplifier features a comprehensive settings menu, allowing the PREAMP-I to be individually tailored to the user’s needs.
The elegant housing is made of high-quality aluminum. The impressive build quality underscores our commitment to the highest standards.
With its sophisticated architecture, diverse connectivity options, and modular expandability, this preamplifier combines audiophile sound quality with high adaptability to the diverse requirements of modern and classic playback systems.
