Luphonic R2 Turntable
The Luphonic R2 is a belt-drive turntable built with a layered solid surface chassis chosen for its excellent damping properties. Its synchronous motor is mounted on a separate lower layer, isolated by cellular rubber to minimize vibration reaching the bearing and tonearm.
Each motor is individually calibrated with in-house electronics that precisely tune amplitude and phase, resulting in exceptionally quiet and stable operation. Playback speeds of 33 ⅓ and 45 RPM are selected via Luphonic’s signature puck control—a contactless system that activates the turntable when placed and stops it when removed. A red digital display shows speed, phase, and system status.
The R2 comes standard with the K2 tonearm, a 9.5-inch gimbal-mounted design with a carbon fiber tube and full adjustability for VTA, azimuth, tracking force, and anti-skating.
