Artesania Dampers

Artesania Audio’s audio dampers are anti-magnetic shock absorbers that act against vibrations generated in electronic components. These could be from power sources or could be a consequence of the undulatory movement of sound as it bounces back off the furniture and cabinets housing electronic equipment. These airborne vibrations cause interference and background noise that are detrimental to the listening experience.

When dampers are installed in all electronic components of a sound system, clearer and more defined sounds are achieved across all frequencies.

Dampers provide an extra control across the whole passband. They should be considered a final touch in achieving clarity, tone and coherence in sound reproduction on room acoustics.

Available in 4 sizes:

• The Standard damper has a height of 10 cm (3.9″) and weighs 1.4 kg, 3 lbs
• The Improved damper has a height 14.8 cm (5.82″) and weighs 2.4 kg, 5.3 lbs
• The MK-III has a height of 3.5 cm (1.37″) and weighs 3.84 kg, 8.5 lbs
• The DP20 has a height of 11 cm (4.33”) and weighs 12.5 kg, 27.6 lbs
