Galder-Odin Signature. A Performer. Forever. It has been 5 years since Bergmann launched the classic Galder airbearing turntable, and the Odin linear tracking airbearing tonearm. Both products have won great recognition for design, technology, craftsmanship, ease of use, and not the least the sonic qualities. With the new Galder-Odin Signature, Bergmann has taken the system to a yet a new sonic level, achieving more depth and weight in the low frequencies with dramatically improved transparency and a full sound image that has become more vivid. Vital parts are made of solid stainless steel, such as the 36kg platter, the clamp, and the unique adjustable Galder feet (further developed). Bergmann has also improved on the Odin tonearm for additional strength and stiffness, as well as having an easier adjustment of the VTA and overhang. A newe Libelle tool was also developed which makes it quite easy to adjust the air pipe leveling. The new Galder-Odin Signature comes with a more powerful air-supply to lift the dramatically heavier platter with the easy-to-operate vacuum hold down that is integrated as usual, on the turntable. To complete the design, Bergmnn added additional items in steel, such as push buttons and the Bergmann logo plate.
